WOMMA Talkable Brands Exchange
The WOMMA Talkable Brands Exchange Events are knowledge forums where brands openly share and discuss their social marketing successes, learnings, and best practices.
Talkable Brands Exchange Events focus on specific topics of interest to brands and provide exclusive access and networking with industry thought leaders from brands, agencies, and service providers.
The Talkable Brands Exchange on September 22nd is focused on the topic most requested by our brand members: Measuring the ROI of WOM and Social Media. Measuring WOM and social media is a topic in which everyone has an opinion, but nobody agrees on the solution. In 2009, WOMMA produced the Measurement and Metrics Guidebook and later this fall an updated version will be released. As the leading association in both offline and online marketing, WOMMA will share insights from the guidebook which offers a broad overview of the types of metrics available, key considerations for their use, and specific examples of their application.
The morning will begin with WOM thought leaders discussing a macro-view of the measurement space, updates on current trends, and problems yet to be solved. The session “Getting to the Bottom Line: Is WOM Worth it? And What Exactly is it Worth?” will be led by Ed Keller, CEO at KellerFay; Rob Key, CEO/Founder of Converseon; Virginia Miracle, N.A. Head of Digital Strategy at Ogilvy 360DI; and Robbin Phillips, President of Brains on Fire. Robin Carey, Co-Founder & CEO of Social Media Today will moderate.
Paul Rand, CEO/ Founder of Zócalo Group will deliver the welcoming remarks and Ryan Rasmussen, VP, Research Director at Zócalo Group, will lead a session on “Integrating Paid and Earned into Social Media” during this event.
