Registration open for Social Media Week 2012
Zócalo Group is excited to announce that registration for Social Media Week Chicago 2012 opened today at 9 a.m. central.
Social Media Week, to be held Sept. 24-28, is one of Chicago’s most anticipated global technology and cultural events. The week will include dozens of events such as speaker and panel discussions, networking events and more, all focused on the theme Empowering Change Through Collaboration.
The events are all free to attend and open to the public. A variety of program tracks will cover a wide range of topics including Business; Media & Entertainment; Technology & Innovation; Politics & Government and Art & Culture.
Zócalo Group is proud to co-host Social Media Week Chicago for the second year with the Chicago Tribune. Last year, there were more than 80 events with 200 speakers and upwards of 7,000 registrants.
Social Media Week will take place simultaneously in 14 global cities: Barcelona, Berlin, Bogota, Chicago, Glasgow, Hong Kong, Jeddah, London, Los Angeles, Sao Paulo, Seoul, Shanghai, Tornino and Vancouver. Many events will be streamed live online.
