#140char Conference, June 19-20, New York
Also known as the State of Now Conference, this two-day event will explore the effect of the real-time Internet on business and people, with a unique twist. The goal is to provide a platform for as many people as possible to share their ideas, so individual talks are 10 minutes and panel discussions are 10 to 20 minutes. This fast-paced event has more than 100 confirmed speakers who will share stories of how the Internet has changed their lives, focusing on the theme “Finding and Sharing Meaning.”
Social Media Conference, June 21-22, Los Angeles
The Social Media Conference is one of the largest events examining social media. Featuring both seminars and an exhibit hall, this event will feature communications experts from organizations including NBC Universal, Yahoo! and the U.S. Navy.
Tech Week, June 22 – 26, Chicago
This year’s conference is drawing some of the biggest brands together focus on the ever growing power of digital information and how it’s become the new competitive edge in today’s society.
Mobile Dev Con, July 17-19, San Francisco
This conference offers opportunities for developers to dive deep into the latest building tools, as well as learn about larger trends from industry experts. Dual tracks for iOs and Android are offered, and speakers include representatives from Wireless Industry Partnership, Universal Mind, Cisco Systems, Inc. and Barnes & Noble.
CSS Summit, July 31- August 2, online
Web designers and developers can get up to speed on the implementation of new techniques available in CSS3, mobile concerns and other topics at this online-only conference. Speakers include representatives from Sass, Opera and Google.
