International Corporate Chefs Association (ICCA) Summit Kicks Off in San Francisco
Dining is one of the most naturally social experiences: we look up reviews, ask friends for recommendations and share our favorite places and experiences. Now this element has exploded, with social and mobile media making it easier to take photos, share reviews and check in to restaurants.
Zócalo Group President and CEO Paul M. Rand will speak about this changing landscape at the International Corporate Chefs Association 10th Anniversary Summit at the Westin St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco on June 26.
Paul will be presenting on “Talkable Food: Building Your Brand & Your Business in the Age of the Connected Consumer.” Today’s leading brands are very serious about measurably driving sales through word-of-mouth and social media marketing. This is one of the areas of drastic change from the year the ICCA was founded and will have perhaps the most significant impact on the industry in the next decade.
ICCA is a chefs’ association designed exclusively for corporate chefs from the nation’s largest chains and multi-unit operations. The association meets annually and also networks at other large industry events. This year’s annual summit will feature some of the nation’s most creative chefs sharing their vision for the next decade.
